Kid Friendly Pubs
Most bars in Spain welcome children with open arms. In fact the chldren usually get served before the adults! However finding a place where adults can have a quiet drink whilst the children play is a different matter.
As the Spanish life is an outdoor one most bars have a terraced area which can allow the children to run around.
Here is my list of tried and tested places to keep your little ones occupied whilst you lap up the sun and have a well deserved drink!

Laurel & Hardy's - Ciudad Quesada
One of the most popular restaurants in Quesada - Laurel's has everything you need if you have a young family in tow. There is a large outdoor children's play area set off of the terrace which means that you can watch the kid's whilst having a drink and/or something to eat. There is a large children's menu and there are even pool tables for the kids to play outside. Thoroughly recommended!!!
Amsteleria - Ciudad Quesada
This is a bar with a difference made especially for the beer drinkers in mind!!! Each table has a beer pump attached where you can help yourself to beer. The amount you drink is added up on the electronic gauge on the pump. Sometimes they have a competition going where the amount you drink is calculated and displayed on the plasma screens dotted around the bar. So you end up competing with other tables!
Obviously when the children are with you this is not what you would be doing! So luckily there is a soft play area upstairs where the children can run around until their heart's content. They also have a two lane mini bowling alley.
This is a great place to go to kill a few hours! Any more than that are you are likely to go deaf with the sound of children screaming!!!

Mini Golf - Ciudad Quesada
With an 18 hole golf course and large bar area, the Mini Golf continues to be a popular destination amongst visitors to Quesada. With a large terrace overlooking the course, you can enjoy a beer or snack whilst enjoying the view. Is a "Sports" bar with a public swimming pool. Showing all the football games on the many screens for all you football lovers.
The swimming pool has a large terraced area where if you don't feel like taking a dip yourself you can bathe on the many loungers and watch your little darlings have a splashing time!

Has a real English feel in fact it reminds me of a beefeater style pub!

A very popular place to go for all the family in La Florida is a place called the Emerald Isle. This is a kind of restaurant that has a large pool that is open to the public, and throughout the day and evening it has many things to do to keep the kids and adults active.
